Job Opportunity: Applied Quantitative Biologist

CCIRA is searching for an Applied Quantitative Biologist who will be responsible for 1) quantitative data analyses in coordination and collaboration with CCIRA’s Science Coordinator or other technical staff, and 2) contributing to fisheries management and science processes.

The candidate must be self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and able to meet deadlines while understanding the dynamic nature of the working context.

NOTE: CCIRA operates in a distributed office environment. Currently, members of our team live and work from the Lower Mainland, BC Interior, South and Central Coast and Vancouver Island. Candidates for this position should be based within BC, able to travel within a reasonable time period to Vancouver as needed to meet in person once COVID allows, and be prepared to provide their own office equipment and set-up.
