Food, social & ceremonial catch monitoring

Central Coast First Nations are working to modernize their catch monitoring programs.

Improved food social and ceremonial (FSC) catch monitoring will better enable the Nations to manage their resources and respond to management changes proposed by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. CCIRA staff provide technical support including data management systems development and management, FSC tracking, and improved community awareness about the importance of recording catch numbers.
